Expanding the acoustic piano sound through electronics is a work in progress that I have been exploring since 2014. Given the complex nature of the acoustic sound, processing this sound through electronics represents a range of exciting challenges both musically and technologically. Here, no sound is added from external sources: everything comes from the piano itself.
My personal vision of a «Piano and Live Electronics» is a versatile instrument that can be used live and that can integrate naturally into my different musical projects and open up new interdisciplinary fields, such as music for film, dance, theatre and visual art.
During 2022, this project is supported by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia.
