Portfolio and past musical activites

Piano Diploma at the École de Jazz et Musique Actuelle EJMA in Lausanne (Switzerland) with a two-year course in Music Pedagogy at the Conservatory of the same city. Creation of the Diploma project with original arrangements and compositions for piano solo, piano trio and for an 8-piece ensemble with piano, double bass, drums, trumpet, saxophone, violoncello, french horn and vibraphone. Creation, development and co-production of the musical projects "Wave Flow" and "Gabriele Pezzoli Trio" and various live experiences in several other projects as side-man.

In 2003, "Wave Flow" released their first CD "Moving Smoothly and Steadily", distributed nationwide by the City Disc retail chain. The band then performed in clubs and festivals in Switzerland, Italy and Germany (more than 70 concerts, including two editions of the Montreux Jazz Festival and featuring more than 15 guest musicians) and took part in numerous showcases and radio and television productions (SSR/SRG, RAI, Radio France), in the "Schweizer Künstlerbörse", in the "Prix Walo" at the "Internationale Kulturbörse Freiburg" (Germany). This was followed in 2006 by the release of the band's second album: "Sulla Terra". Some tracks from these albums are regularly played on the SSR/SRG Swiss national radio networks.

International recording debut of the Piano Trio with the release of the album "Improvviso" (2006), distributed worldwide by the historic Montreux label TCB Records. The release was followed by an intense live activity in national Clubs and Festivals (Moods Zurich, AMR Geneva, Bird's Eye Basel, Chorus Lausanne, live broadcast concerts on national radio RSI Lugano and RTS Lausanne, etc.) and a second album, in 2009, "Rendez-Vous". Both albums are well received by international critics with reviews, in particular, from Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands. At the same time, a stable collaboration began with the Q3 musicians' collective of brothers Brian, Nolan and Simon Quinn; a collaboration from which numerous projects were born and developed, including the group "Homeland", the collectives "Crossing" and "BLUE 2147" and the music promotion initiatives "Jazz nelle nostre piazze", "Six O'Clock" and "Estonia-Ticino".
