Since 2014, the Ticino-based collective BLUE 2147 has been producing and promoting collaborative musical creations dedicated to improvisation, instant composition and interdisciplinarity.

In its 11 years of activity, the collective has involved more than 40 musicians and performers active in Ticino, Switzerland and Europe in over 150 creations. Thanks to a long partnership with the Six O'Clock concert series, it has also participated in numerous events as house band and co-curator. The collective's activities have given rise to the permanent projects Colossus of Rhodes, R:ED - with the special participation of Nils Petter Molvær - and RAUN, with the special participation of Arve Henriksen.
