Born out of an idea by pianist Gabriele Pezzoli and drummer Brian Quinn, BLUE2147 is a musical and multidisciplinary artistic collective based in Ticino, Southern Switzerland.

Since 2014 BLUE2147 is active as the home band at Six O'Clock concerts and has promoted several musical productions in the area of improvised music and instant composing. Some stable «spin-off» projects have also emerged from the collective's activities: Colossus of Rhodes, R:ED and BRAUN.
